Google Ads Rolls Out 3 New Reporting Columns
In this article I’ll be showing you how easy it is to Import Google Analytics 4 Conversions to Google Ads as a way of conversion tracking.
In case you didn’t know, Google has a recent update where they rolled out 3 new reporting columns that provides easier access to your data regarding conversion goals.
These new columns make it easier for advertisers to understand how the conversions they are getting impacts the overall campaign performance.
These are the new columns:
- Results value
- Conversion goals
Prior to this update, you would have to go through the custom segments and apply them to see each conversion actions and the categories they are included in. Now all of these data are readily available for advertisers.
Here are more information and screenshots for the new columns in Google Ads reports:
The Results Column, this column shows advertisers the amount of conversions you’ve received across your primary conversion actions you’ve set for each of the standard goals present in your account.
Additionally, this column will be showing you the impact a campaign is driving its goals its not optimizing towards. If you check the screenshot above, it shows how the campaign have generated phone calls even though it’s not optimized for that type of conversion.
The Results Value Column, now this columns shows you the calculated conversion values you have received across your primary conversion actions that you’ve set for each of the standard goals in your account.
The screenshot above shows you how easy it is now to compare and contrast the total conversions versus the total value generated.
Conversion Goals Column
Lastly, the Conversion Goals Column.This column shows you the goals listed via campaign level settings that drives performance.
If you want to analyze your campaigns that optimize lead form submissions, then you can easily check this column and see which ones you need to look at.
These three new columns are available now in Google Ads and you will be able to access this data at the manager account level.
